The Knapp Center has been partnered with the Boardman Park Adventure Day Camp since 2014. Boardman Park offers children grades kindergarten to sixth grade a summer camp experience with a focus on education. Children participate in a variety of outdoor activities to include arts and crafts, science, creative arts, sports, and team building activities. Boardman Park also encourages 30 minutes of exercise daily as well as reading books outside in the fresh air once a week. Social skills and friendships are built throughout a variety of social activities including free play, recess, and lunch.
