To meet the needs of families of young children who may present early signs of autism, we offer comprehensive evaluations for young children ages 15 months through 5 years of age to identify those who may have autism. Early identification is important because it allows for early intervention, which correlates with better long-term outcome for the child. Dr. Knapp will help the family determine if their young child presents with a developmental delay, global developmental delays, a language disorder, autism, or possibly another disorder. Families are asked to return 1-2 weeks after this assessment in order to receive results, feedback and treatment recommendations.
