The Knapp Center has been partnered with the Jewish Community Center (JCC) since 2012. The JCC offers children going into grades 1-8 a daily summer camp filled with swimming, group playground time, and group activities such as sports, nature themed activities, cooking, and music. Every Wednesday the JCC offers a theme day or field trip to places such as Mill Creek Park and Akron Zoo. Children are able to focus on building social skills and friendships during a variety of social activities including lunch time, playground time, and free swim. Swimming lessons are offered twice a week as well to promote safety within the pool.
