Treatment

The Knapp Center for Childhood Development offers a variety of treatment options for children and youth with autism. All of our programs utilize the science and methodology of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). ABA is a science that uses behavioral techniques and strategies to teach a variety of basic and complex skills. ABA teaches and reinforces appropriate expected behavior while decreasing or eliminating interfering and problematic behavior. The Knapp Center offers ABA programs on-site, in the home setting, in a school setting, within the community and at therapeutic summer camps.
